Plenty Magazine has ceased publication. Plenty Magazine was not your grandma's environmental magazine. Written for the environmental consumer who is just as likely to wear spandex as hemp fabrics, Plenty offered tips for "smart living in a complex world." Unlike other magazines suited to the sometimes stodgy or self-flagellating environmentalist, Plenty suggested informed and innovative ways to "be green" AND enjoy such consumable goods as hybrid cars and sexy designer clothes. For environmentally focused readers with diverse interests--in food, design, eco-friendly ski resorts, fossil fuel and much more--this was a magazine with a hopeful and sometimes sobering description of what the future holds.
